ADDING A LITTLE LOCAL FLAVOR TO THE SPRINGS

They say stick to what you know. Well, if there's one thing Base Camp knows, it's flavor. If there's two things we know, it's flavor and Colorado. So we decided the best way to move forward was with some excellent flavors inspired by the resources we have in our own back yard. Olathe Corn, Bison, Palisade peach, Trout, and Pueblo chili serve as a jumping off point for flavors and dishes that have to be tasted to be believed.

We really enjoyed our meal at Base Camp. I had the bison steak and frites and my wife had the Shepherds Pie. She also had a wine she enjoyed that was very reasonably priced. The service was excellent and very friendly. They also have fancy dog treats that our guy at home loved!

Amazing, amazing food and service. Our waitress was extremely friendly and willing to answer any questions about the menu and give helpful recommendations. After our meal the chef even came out to chat with us and even offered to serve a dessert from the summertime menu, raspberry s'mores, for us to try. The lamb chops and mashed potatoes were delicious and every dessert was 10/10. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fine-dining experience.

I love this place. I met up with a couple of my friends here, and we had the savory asian waffles, bison steak frites, and the mint s'mores with homemade marshmallow. The food was excellent, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was great. I love how the outdoor tables were set up so you could doodle on them with chalk while you waited for your food. Such a fun idea! Definitely will come back!

Super friendly staff and amazing food. The menu is creative and the food is cooked perfectly. The portions are big so that you can split one of the options choosing one from each category (we did the choose your own adventure and it was just the right amount of food). Highly recommend the lamb lollipops and mint s'mores.
